Want To Help?
April 16, 2020
Dear friends –
“I thank my God every time I think of you!” (Philippians 1:3). We are sending this letter in response to the multiple inquiries we have received about financial giving.
First, we are sharing good news. For the last few weeks many people have quietly reached out to us. Some of the people who reached out have been longtime members while others have only been to worship at Circle a few times. Some wanted to know how to help those impacted by COVID-19 and others told us they had been thinking and praying about what to do with their stimulus check. Simply the fact that these conversations are happening is cause for celebration.
Second, we wanted to share information on how to give. Anyone can mail a check to 8430 W. Deer Valley Rd, Peoria AZ, 85382. You can always learn about digital giving options like Zelle or Planning Center at our website https://www.circleofpeacechurch.com/donate/. If you have any questions, our Office Manager Juliana is happy to help, just email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 623-879-6700.
Did you know we have three different funds to give to?
- The General Fund – This supports Circle’s ongoing core ministries. Our faithful giving is making a deep difference right now.
- The Assistance Fund – If you designate “Assistance Fund” on your gift, it will go to support the tangible needs of people we know. We have already received requests for help from people impacted by COVID-19, and we have already received gifts to this fund from stimulus checks.
- The Building Fund – To our delight and surprise, some people have asked about the building fund… which is kind of ironic since we can’t gather in our building right now! If you’re led to give to this fund, simply designate “Building Fund.”
It is our understanding that the CARES Act passed by the US Government includes additional tax incentives to people who make a charitable contribution in this time. For more information on that, please contact your tax professional. Circle of Peace Church is a 501(c)(3) organization.
As a community, we are connected to each other and we are seeking to be led by the Holy Spirit. Thank you for your prayers and partnership. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to let us know.
In God’s Peace,
Ryan Brown, Treasurer
Jeremy Ashworth, Pastor
