The Basics

Going to a church for the first time can be a little scary, but it’s doesn’t have to be!  Here’s some basic info:

Our building is located in Peoria, on West Deer Valley Road, across from Ray’s Pizza, Kawaii Sushi and Fry’s, beside Culver’s and Brakes Plus.

We have two Sunday services: 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.  The services are identical and last about an hour.

We have parking in the front lot (facing West Deer Valley) but we also have super-secret parking in the back lot (hidden behind the building). Handicapped spaces available in both lots.

We have a great band that leads worship and plays about five songs.  We share some announcements, take an offering, read the Bible, and the pastor preaches a long, boring sermon.  Just kidding on that last part, if you want to hear what the sermons are like, click here. We’re done in about an hour.

Worship is informal, energetic, and engaging.  The venue is not a big stadium, it’s more like a cozy coffeehouse, so you’ll have the chance to easily meet other people if you want to.

We are an all-ages church with plenty of families, and kids are always welcome to sit in worship with their parents.  Parents are also welcome to check their kids into our children’s ministry areas, which provide activities for kids during worship.  Just look for this sign

We have great nursery care for the little ones (age 2 and under) as well as classes for kids up to grade 5.  Our classes are focused on introducing our little and big kiddos to Jesus and helping them make wiser choices, build stronger relationships, and develop a deeper faith. We use music, small group discussions, and creative activities together to reinforce one clear and simple bottom line each week so kids can walk away remembering what matters most.

You can find more information about what’s coming up for kids and families on Facebook. Like “Kids at Circle” for updates on what the kids are learning.

For families that want to follow along with the curriculum and receive helpful follow-up info to bring the lesson home, you can download the free Parent Cue app to follow along with the curriculum we are teaching! Check it out!
